Supplique au temps

A song about the passing time how you cannot get it back.

This song was first written at my father death around 2013 and it was rewritten at the death of my grand mother.
It found its final form after the lost of a dear friend of mine before the end of 2017.

Une supplique au temps pendant qu’il me reste du temps
La vie étant ce qu’elle est tant, juste un peu de temps.

Malheureusement elle ne s’étend jamais plus en avant
Que le petit bout de temps qui nous attend !
Elle se joue de nous pourtant, allégrement
Notre temps n’étant pour elle qu’un jeu d’enfant

N’étant qu’un passager du temps rien n’est plus important
Que de savoir user son temps pour vivre tout simplement.

Il en est toujours un qui s’arrête au mauvais moment
Nous laissant seuls face au temps impotent
La mort quant à elle nous rattrape à tout moment
Et nous offre le gît dans l’infini

Elle nous fait toucher du bout du pied l’éternité
La vie étant ce qu’elle est tant juste un peu de temps
Je vous demande simplement juste un peu de temps
Qu’il nous reste s’il vous plait !
